So the next Thing on our list of 23 Things is Twitter. I have to admit, I have been curious about Twitter for some time. Express yourself in 140 characters or less? Really?? But again, I'm always willing to try something new and expand on my tech competency.
Truth be told, I think I might enjoy Twitter. It gets right down to the basics with no added fluff. In this time-pressed world, I like that idea.
I did say that I would use this blog for teen books though. Our Speed Readers book club is meeting next Friday and I am (as always) curious to hear their thoughts on the latest book I gave them: 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. I am a bit nervous when I give a book with a more mature theme like this one, mainly because of this age group. You never know how they will react to a sensitive topic like suicide, but hopefully it will lead to an engaging conversation. Stay tuned :)
How did you like the book? I listened to the audiobook and Hannah wrecked me. So many things that could have gone differenty, like her conversation with the guidance counsellor.
